Jose Navarro

Lecturer and Visual Ethnographer at West Highland College/UHI, involved in curriculum development on the BA(Hons) Adventure Education programme. I have travelled in remote environments such as Iceland, Alaska, The Thar Desert, the Sahel, Namibia, North Africa, and Guyana. I’ve worked on ethnographic projects in the Outer Hebrides and Spain as well as documentary assignments in Burkina Faso and Ghana. My key areas of academic interest are Spatial Stories, Embodiment and the Ecology of Perception.
